About Us

Applied Behavioral Research, LLC (ABR) is a behavioral health research, education, and training company located in New Haven, Connecticut. We specialize in the design and distribution of substance abuse training programs. 

Since 1995, ABR has been conducting randomized trials evaluating the most effective means of training community based clinicians in evidence based treatments. Through this process we have successfully completed and demonstrated the promise of innovative computer-assisted training programs. Results from our randomized training trials demonstrate that computerized distance learning methods are an effective means for clinicians to access training both from a cost and logistics perspective. These training programs bridge a significant gap between research and clinical practice. 
 

ABR provides comprehensive training and information in the field of behavioral health.  Such knowledge will assist clinicians to stay current with advances in the field and can provide the educational training hours (CEUs) needed towards obtaining or maintaining a credential as a drug/alcohol counseling professional.
